Description

Knives are the first edged weapons and have existed for over a million years. Like pre-modern humans, millions of people carry a knife as a utility tool and for defensive purposes. However, practical training methods for their deployment and application are scarce.

The "Knife Combatives Course" gives students a core concepts view of self-defense using a knife. Students will learn a working knowledge of knife application techniques supported by functional close-range control techniques using grappling and pugilist training methods.

The instructor requires a copy of your Concealed Carry Weapons permit once you register.

  • Comfortable clothes
  • Wrap-around eye protection
  • Mouthpiece and cup
  • Preferred carry knives
  • Trainer knives (if you have them)
  • MMA style gloves (if you have them)
  • Water
Please arrive at the course with your nails trimmed and filed. This is a physical class and students will be interacting with each other at extremely close ranges. It is highly encouraged to wear/bring deodorant
