Description

Our vehicle tactics class consists of live ballistic demonstrations, and tactics surrounding fighting in and around vehicles. This class will not require students to bring rifles, only pistols and support equipment.

Day one will begin with a ballistics demonstration where we will be firing live rounds into a vehicle to investigate what bullets of various calibers will and will not do to a vehicle.

After the vehicle ballistic demonstration we will begin to discuss tactics, unconventional shooting positions, points of cover, and movements. Day two will consist of continuing tactics, movements and shooting drills. Day two will conclude with drills and movements around the vehicle while engaging steel and paper targets.

This is not an entry-level course. Prior to enrolment approval, students should be prepared to give a detailed description of their past shooting experience, and any previous classes that they have attended. The instructor reserves the right to remove students from the class based off of continual unsafe shooting, or other practices. If a student is removed from the class because safety concerns a refund will not be issued. It is the instructor’s obligation to ensure all class participants are safe/ kept safe.

Vehicle tactics is a low round count class because it is a tactics class more than a shooting class. Students will only be required to bring 300 rounds of ammo. More ammo is always welcome. Equipment requirements consist of a reliable semi-automatic pistol with a safe holster, three magazines, and magazine pouches. Holsters must have some amount of retentions as students will be moving in and out of a vehicle, and shooting while on the ground. Under no circumstances will Blackhawk Serpa/ Serpa style holsters, or inside the waist band holsters be permitted. Knee pads, elbow pads, gloves and dust masks are not required but are strongly recommended as students will be on the ground, and working around sharp metal, broken glass, and glass dust. IFAK's and booboo kits are a great idea. If you have any questions concerning qualifications, holsters, or other gear requirements please feel free to contact us directly. Prior to enrolment approval students will be individually contacted by the instructor.
