About Lewis Creek Shooting School
Dick Jones is an NRA rifle, pistol, and shotgun instructor and has taught shooting since 1980. He’s a Distinguished Rifleman, President’s Hundred, and former High Master. He’s served as president of the North Carolina Rifle and Pistol Association, Organizing President of Piedmont Handgunner’s Association, ran the North Carolina High Power Rifle team for six years, and served as Volunteer Field Staff for NRA. He owns and operates Lewis Creek Shooting, a firearms training facility in North Carolina.
As a writer, he’s written for local newspapers, regional outdoor magazines and national magazines and the web, writing for Remington, Beretta, Gun Digest, Recoil Magazine, Gun Mag, Outdoor Hub, GunsAmerica Digest, Shooting Sports USA, and Harris Publications. He’s authored two books, the last one for Gun Digest, The Gun Digest Guide to Concealed Carry Handguns.
He currently writes for Gun Digest and Shooting Sports USA and teaches rifle, pistol, and shotgun as well as North Carolina Concealed Carry Certification.

Refund Policy
At Lewis Creek Shooting, I strive to be the best instructor in North Carolina. Since I began teaching in 1980, it has been my policy to strive to improve the skills of everyone I coach or teach. I guarantee performance on my part. If you take the N.C. Certification class with me and don’t feel it was the best possible class you could get, let me know at the end of the class and I will give you a full refund. If you take a training session and don’t learn to shoot better, the same policy applies.
