Description

A multi-state concealed carry permit allows you to carry a concealed firearm in many states without having to get a separate permit for each state. This can be especially useful for people who travel across state lines frequently.

However, you should still contact the proper authorities in each state to learn the exact rules and regulations. For example, Pennsylvania does not recognize non-resident permits.

Most states have reciprocity agreements with each other, which means they often offer similar protection. However, each state sets its own reciprocity criteria

Topics Covered

is intended for all individuals regardless of previous shooting experience. This course meets & exceeds the 4 hour MD HQL requirements. We cover MD Firearms Law & the Application Processes for obtaining a handgun & HQL. Our NRA "Gold Standard" Certified Instruction team will teach: gun safety rules, Home Firearm Safety, proper operation of revolvers & semi-automatic pistols, ammunition knowledge & selection, pistol selection & storage, shooting fundamentals, pistol inspection & maintenance, marksmanship, and shooting range safety. Students will complete live-fire personalized training & a nationally standardized shooting qualification (50 rounds) while on the range with NRA Certified Instructors. Students will receive the NRA Guide: Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook, take a Basics of Pistol Shooting Student Exam & receive an NRA course completion certificate. We provide ammo at $ cost. Students bring owned guns or we can provide them.

Students will need - for the classroom & range - a pistol (.22cal, .380 or 9MM caliber recommended), 2 magazines or speed-loaders, 50 rounds of ammunition, eye & hearing protection, and a positive attitude! Firearms should be cased.

** MUST Bring (from previous attended courses - if you have them)! Pen and Pad to take notes

Students are encouraged to bring additional "OWNED Defensive Handguns" to the classroom for interest demonstration and drill purposes. All firearms and magazines MUST be unloaded and cased.
