Description
This class is a continuation of the hangun courses offered by Pacwest Defense. Students will be expected to safely handle their handgun and be familiar with the functionality of their firearm.
As a concealed carry citizen, you need to know how to engage a threat. Defensive Handgun covers topics such as drawing from a holster, cover, concealment, moving while shooting, etc.
Topics Covered
Holster draw techniques, malfunction clearing, one-handed shooting, moving and shooting, use of cover and conccealment.
Expectations and Outcomes
Students will become familiar with techniques used in a concealed carry environment. Certificate of completion will be awared upon successful completion of class.

Documentation Requirements
Student must be a US citizen and legally allowed to posess a firearm. Proof of CHL required.
The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.
The instructor requires a copy of your Concealed Carry Weapons permit once you register.
Requirements
- A properly working handgun, chambered in 380 or higher
- 3 or more magazines
- A hard-sided holster that does not collapse. (NO Serpa Style holsters)
- A magazine carrier for two magazines
- Eye protection
- Electronic hearing protection
- Baseball style hat
- Clothing appropriate for the weather and range (close-toed shoes)
