Description
The USCCA AR-15 Fundamentals course includes both classroom and live fire range instruction. The class is designed to cover the safe handling of an AR-15, proper care, storage and maintenance of the rifle. Students will be exposed to a variety of drills designed to increase their comfort and competency with the AR-15 platform.

Expectations and Outcomes
Students will have gained additional knowledge about the AR-15 platform, how it operates, and what is the best ammunition for the type of shooting they plan to do. In addition students will have gained the confidence to safely operate their rifle, how to recognize and clear an AR-15 malfunction, reloading the AR-15 during a stressful encounter, how to zero their optics, along with repeatable drills to refine their accuracy while apply mechanical offset of their optics.

Requirements
This class is limited to AR-15 patterned rifles.
Students will need the following:
- Eye and Ear Protection
- Long Pants & Closed Toe Shoes
- Cropped Collared Shirt/Top
- AR-15
- 250 Rounds of Ammunition
- At least two 30 Round Magazines
- Sling, 2pt is preferred
- Weather Appropriate Gear
- Lunch
- Brimmed hat as we will be on the range for 3hrs
- If possible have a 50 yard rough zero
- Pen & Notebook
