Description
Everyting mechanical is succeptable to breaking. Malfunctins can be induced by a variety of issues such as bad ammunition, a dirty or unlubricated AR, bad/broken magaines, or improper assembly. When that happens while operating an AR-15 we want to be able to diagnose the issue and correct it as quickly as possible to finish our practice session or get back in the fight in a defensive situation. Once we cover the types of malfunctions and how to properly clear them we will move into some kinesthetic alignment drills at various distances that are designed to reinforce mechanical offset, proper stance, four points of contact, and the AR-15 Ready Position. The Level 2 class wraps up with Cadence & Marking drills that are designed to help you become more familiar with the AR-15's recoil impulse, managing that recoil as the rate of fire increases for accurate hits on the target.
