Expectations and Outcomes
To pass this course the State of South Carolina expects that each tudent can properly and safely handle their handgun and have a basic understanding of the laws of self defense when usimg force including deadly force.
Passing this class enables you to apply for your Souh Carolina CWP. All the paperwork needed to apply will be provided at the conclusion of the class.

Basic, Concealed Carry License, Concealed Carry Training, Handgun Fundamentals, NRA Courses, USCCA Courses
Documentation Requirements
If you are former military you will need a copy of your DD-214. If you are active military you will need to bring a copy of your current orders.
The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.
Requirements
All students need to be 18 years of age or older, and be legal to be in possession of a handgun.
You will need the following for the live fire range qualification:
- Eye & Ear Protection
- Handgun, (No guns are allowed in the classroom)
- Holster
- 25 Rounds of Ammunition, (No ammunition is allowed in the classroom)
- Long Pants
- Closed Toe Shoes,(No sandals, flip flops, etc)
- Collard or round neck shirt, (V Neck/loose tops can result in hot brass getting inside the shirt)
- I recommend a hat to deflect hot brass but it's not required
