Utah Concealed Firearms Permit Course (BCI CFP)

Description

This is the Utah State Certified course for those who would like to obtain their concealed firearms permit (CFP).

But Utah is now a Constitutional Carry state.  Why do I need a CFP?  There are many reasons, but let's look at two.

1. Reciprocity.  Did you know there are multiple states throughout the US that honor your CFP from Utah?  No, California isn't one of them.
2. Carrying a concealed weapon, on or near a school or campus.  Did you know Constitutional Carry is limited on where you can carry?  Who wants to be limited?

If you find yourself using your weapon for self-defense.  What type of DOCUMENTED training do you have?  It's not just the criminal charges you need to be concerned about.  You can almost guarantee, a civil suit will be filed by the person or family you used force against.  Do you want the bad guy to own your home?  That would suck!

Expectations and Outcomes

At the end of the course, you will have met the Utah BCI requirements to submit your application for your CFP.

Requirements

No firearms are allowed during this course.  Only certified instructors may be armed.
