Description

This course will teach you the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for owning and using a pistol safety. Upon successful completion you will leave this class with the confidence and abilities to properly use your firearm.

This is an objectives based course with a strong focus on safety.  

Lesson I: Pistol Knowledge and Safe Gun Handling
Lesson II: Ammunition Knowledge and the Fundamentals of Pistol Shooting
Lesson III: Shooting Positions and Shooting Qualifications
Lesson IV: Scoring Targets, and Selecting and Maintaining Your Pistol

Expectations and Outcomes

This is an introductory course intended to help a new shooter become familiar with firearms with an importance of safety in mind. Upon completion of this course you will have a basic understanding of firearms and how they opreate.

What you will need for the class:

Close toed shoes

Your firearm (I have one you may use for free if you choose but I have to know in advance)

A Minimum of 50 rounds of Ammo

Pen and notepad

Eye and Ear protection (range has them for rent or purchase)



If you need to purchase ammo for your firearms call the range and confirm availability.
