My name is Angel Brown, founder of Point Blank Period Firearms Training. My journey into firearms instruction began with a passion for safety, education, and empowering others through knowledge. I believe responsible firearm ownership starts with quality training, confidence, and a commitment to lifelong learning.

As a Maryland Certified Wear and Carry and Handgun Qualification License (HQL) Instructor, along with my NRA instructor certifications, I have dedicated myself to helping first-time gun owners, experienced shooters, and families develop the skills needed to safely and responsibly own and use firearms.

I created Point Blank Period Firearms Training because I wanted to provide more than just a class—I wanted to create an environment where students feel respected, encouraged, and confident. Whether you’re applying for your first permit, improving your shooting fundamentals, or continuing your firearms education, my goal is to make every student feel prepared and informed.

My mission is simple: to provide professional instruction that emphasizes safety, responsibility, and practical skills. Every class is taught with patience, professionalism, and a focus on helping students succeed both in the classroom and beyond.
