Description
This comprehensive 8-hour course teaches the essential knowledge, skills, and attitude required for the safe and proper handling and operation of a shotgun when shooting moving targets. Combining interactive classroom instruction with hands-on range practice, students will learn shotgun mechanics, shooting fundamentals, and target acquisition techniques using break-action, pump-action, or semi-automatic shotguns. Live-fire drills feature moving clay targets launched from a Caldwell ClayCopter Surface-To-Air launcher. (Note: This course focuses strictly on fundamental safety, handling, marksmanship, and target shooting skills—it is NOT a self-defense class.)
