Description
AG & AG Intro to Holster Skills is a 4-hour class focused on introducing safe practices and the foundational draw stroke using an outside-the-waistband holster. This is an excellent first step for those who want to build confidence and competence working from a holster in a range environment. Whether your interests lead you to competitive shooting, structured range training, or future skills development, this course provides a solid foundation in holster use.
Taught by a Certified A Girl & A Gun Instructor and a supportive, credentialed team, this course offers expert guidance in a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment. Do not need to be a member of AG&AG to participate.

Requirements
Required equipment:
- Eye protection
- Electronic hearing protection (available for rental)
- A functional semi-automatic handgun in .22lr, .380 or 9mm
- Two magazines and magazine pouches
- Hard-sided, OWB (outside the waist band) holster (No bra holsters, purse carry, IWB, push button retention, fabric or soft-sided holsters allowed)
- Supportive gun belt
- 100 rounds of factory ammunition
- Note-pad and pen strongly recommended
- Climate appropriate- short sleeve or long sleeve shirt and ball cap
- High collar or neckline shirt. No low-cut/V-neck tops (to prevent brass from entering).
- Pants with BELT LOOPS!
- Closed-toe shoes
