Description

Course Syllabus – Women's Handgun Intro - Safety, Confidence, & Fundamentals Training Class:

This is a USCCA-based class that is focused on building your comfort, confidence, and skills with handling firearms. It is best suited for those who have limited to no experience with firearms, or those who want to invest in their time and focus on building a strong pillar of skills.

Students will learn handgun fundamentals including, but not limited to:
How to properly operate and use their defensive pistol, understand safe firearm handling, range safety, gun anatomy, loading and unloading, and target acquisition.

Both dry fire and live fire will be conducted, based on the student’s comfort and experience level. We’ll also introduce topics such as personal safety, situational awareness, and self-protection. This is a great introductory class for exploring firearms as recreation or personal defense, and will help those prepare for future classes (such as a Basic Handgun class or working towards your CCW). Course length will vary between two and three hours, depending on the goals of the students.
