About Right Sight Training

Sean Baxter is a USPSA Competitive Shooter, certified as a USCCA, Guardian Nation, NRA Basic Pistol Instructor, and by the North Carolina Department of Justice as a Concealed Carry Firearms Instructor. 

He is an active seventh degree Master Instructor in Taekwondo, and a veteran of the US Army Infantry having qualified Sharpshooter. Teaching and seeing his students excel has been his passion for over 25+ years.

Policies

Cancellation Policy

Because of limited class capacity and our commitments to instructors, Right Sight Training does not offer refunds on any training or instruction course if you change your mind or are unable to attend.

You may move to a different class if you give us written notice by e-mail at least one week in advance of the scheduled course. Cancellations over the phone or in person in the store will not be honored.

Reschedule Policy

Right Sight Training understands that events happen requiring the need to reschedule a class. Please give as much notice as possible to allow us to fill your spot. 

 

Right Sight Training reserves the right to re-schedule any scheduled class due to severe weather, insufficient minimum registration, or other reasons as determined by Right Sight Training. If a class is canceled students will be rescheduled to a later scheduled date of their choice so long as slots are available. 

Some courses require a minimum number of participants as noted in the course description. If you register for a course with a minimum and the minimum number of participants have not registered within 2 days prior to the course, Right Sight Training reserves the right to cancel / reschedule the course. Students will be given the opportunity to reschedule to a future scheduled course date. Refunds may be given if a future class is not available. 

If a class does not have the minimum students registered, it will be rescheduled to a later class of your choice. 

Refund Policy

In the case of a cancellation, you will receive a store credit that can be applied toward a future training course, membership or store merchandise. Your registration in a course may be transferred to another person if that person meets all training prerequisites and is otherwise qualified to take the course, provided you give us at least two days prior notice by e-mail with the name, e-mail address, and phone number for your substitute.

Waiver

RELEASE, WAIVER, INDEMNIFICATION, HOLD HARMLESS, AND ASSUMPTION OF THE RISK AGREEMENT

WHEREAS, in consideration of being permitted to attend a course for instruction in firearms, for use of premises, and for other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, Undersigned agrees to the following:

 Undersigned agrees to indemnify, hold harmless, and defend Concord Taekwondo, Inc. (dba Right Sight Training), and its INSTRUCTORS, TRAINING COUNSELORS, and RANGE SAFETY OFFICERS (hereinafter referred to as “Instructor(s)”) from any and all fault, liabilities, costs, expenses, claims, and demands or lawsuits arising out of, related to or connected with Undersigned’s presence at and/or participation in the course of instruction;  the discharge of firearms by Undersigned, Undersigned’s presence on or use of the range, building, land, and premises (“Premises”); and, any and all acts or omissions of

 Undersigned furthermore waives for himself/herself and for his/her executors, personal representative, administrators, assignees, heirs, and next of kin; any and all rights and claims for damages, losses, demands, and any other actions or claims whatsoever, which he/she may have or which may arise against Instructor (including, but not limited to the death of Undersigned and/or any and all injuries, damages, or illnesses suffered by Undersigned or Undersigned’s property,) which may, in any way, whatsoever, arise out of, be related to, or be connected with; the course of instruction; the Premises, including any latent defect in the Premises; Undersigned’s presence on or use of said Premises; Undersigned’s property (whether or not entrusted to Instructor); and the discharge of firearms.  The instructor shall not be held liable for, and undersigned, on behalf of himself/herself and on behalf of his/her executors, personal representative, administrators, assignees, heirs, and next of kin, hereby expressly releases the instructor from any and all such claims and liabilities.

Undersigned hereby expressly assumes the risk of taking part in the course for instruction in firearms and taking part in the activities on the Premises, which include, but are not limited to, instruction in the use of firearms, the discharge of firearms and the firing of live ammunition.

I understand that at this event or related activities, I may be photographed. I agree to allow my photo, video, or film likeness to be used for any legitimate purpose by the event holders.

Undersigned hereby acknowledges and agrees that undersigned has read this instrument and understands its terms and is executing this instrument voluntarily. Undersigned furthermore hereby acknowledges and agrees that he/she has read, understands, and will, at all times, satisfy the provisions of all range rules and procedures and other rules and procedures stated by the instructor.

 

Undersigned expressly agrees that this instrument is intended to be broad and inclusive as permitted by law, and that if any provision of this instrument is held invalid or otherwise unenforceable, the enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not be impaired thereby. No remedy conferred by any of the specific provisions of this Instrument is intended to be exclusive of any other remedy, and each and every remedy shall be cumulative and shall be in addition to every other remedy no or hereafter existing at law or in equity or by statute or otherwise. The election of anyone or more remedy hereunder by the instructor shall not constitute any waiver or instructor’s right to pursue other available remedies. This instrument binds undersigned and his/her executors, personal representative, administrators, assignees, heirs and next of kin.

I agree to maintain compliance with all U.S. Laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms Regulations, The Arms Export Control Act, and The International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). I understand this activity is covered under the U.S. Department of State Regulations and will treat the course materials and training as such. I understand that, under Part 127.3 of the ITAR, I can be subject to fine or imprisonment if I am convicted of willful violation of any provision of Section 38 or 39 of the Arms Export Control Act (AECA).

 

I HAVE READ THIS WAIVER AND RELEASE CAREFULLY AND HAVING DONE SO I AM SIGNING IT VOLUNTARILY.
