When you arrive, you’ll be guided step-by-step through the entire process in a safe, relaxed, and beginner-friendly environment.

1. Check-In & Safety Briefing
We’ll start by verifying your LTC-104 certificate and ID, followed by a clear and simple safety overview—even if you’ve never shot before (Highly recommend you get some practice in before taking the shooting portion of your Texas LTC You can contact me and we can set up a private lesson to get you ready).

2. Range Walkthrough
You’ll be shown how everything works at the range so you feel comfortable and confident before we begin.

3. Texas LTC Shooting Qualification
You’ll complete the required course of fire at 3, 7, and 15 yards. I’ll guide you through each stage so you know exactly what to do.

4. Completion & Next Steps
Once you pass, I’ll walk you through what to do next so you can finish your LTC process with confidence.

Documentation Requirements

To complete your Texas LTC shooting qualification, please bring the following:

Required:

  • Valid government-issued ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
  • LTC-104 Certificate (proof you completed the online classroom portion)
  • The LTC-104 must be completed before attending the range qualification
  • Students must be legally eligible to possess a firearm
 If you're unsure about any requirements, feel free to reach out before your class—I’m happy to help you get prepared.

The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.

What to Bring:

  • Handgun (.22LR recommended for beginners)
  • 50 rounds of ammo
  • Eye & ear protection
  • LTC-104 certificate (from your online course)
  • Optics are allowed (Red dots are allowed. MAGNIFIED OPTICS ARE NOT ALLOWED.)
  • If you are using an optic make sure it is zeroed before taking the shooting qaulification.
