Description

Home defense is about more than owning a firearm. A good plan considers your home, the people who live there, available security measures, emergency response, and the decisions you may have to make during a critical incident.

Home Defense Fundamentals is a classroom-based course designed to help individuals and families think through these considerations before an emergency happens.

Students will explore home security, legal considerations surrounding the use of force, defensive options, family communication, and other factors that should be considered when developing a home defense plan.

When time permits, students will also have the opportunity to work with the instructor to begin developing a plan based on their own home and family situation.

No firearms or previous firearms training are required.
