Description
Level 1 Basic Handgun Safety is designed for new and inexperienced shooters who want to build a solid foundation with handguns in a safe, low-pressure environment.
You'll learn the basics of handgun safety, operation, handling, and shooting before putting those skills into practice during a live-fire range session.
No firearm? No problem. Firearm rental is included in the cost of the class, along with ammunition and eye and ear protection. Just show up ready to learn.

Expectations and Outcomes
This is a beginner-friendly class with both classroom instruction and hands-on range time. We start with the fundamentals and give you an opportunity to become comfortable handling a handgun before moving to live fire.
By the end of the class, students should have a better understanding of how handguns operate, how to safely handle and load/unload one, and the basic skills needed to begin shooting.
No previous shooting experience or firearm ownership is required.
