Description
IMPORTANT: The $125 fee shown is the 50% deposit required to register and secure your seat. Total course tuition is $250. The remaining $125 balance is due prior to or on the day of training.

Secrecy Executive Training Academy provides the required in-person firearms familiarity training for individuals seeking a Utah Concealed Firearm Permit (CFP).
This course is taught by a Utah Bureau of Criminal Identification (BCI) Certified Concealed Firearm Permit Instructor and follows the Utah BCI minimum training curriculum.
Students will receive instruction covering firearm safety, handgun familiarity, safe loading and unloading, firearm storage, Utah firearms laws, use of force and self-defense laws, concealed carry responsibilities, and other topics required by Utah BCI.
Upon successful completion, students will receive the required instructor certification needed to move forward with their Utah Concealed Firearm Permit application.
Utah does not require live-fire qualification for the Concealed Firearm Permit.

Expectations and Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students will have completed the required firearms familiarity training for the Utah Concealed Firearm Permit.
Students will receive the applicable instructor certification needed to move forward with their Utah Concealed Firearm Permit application.
Students will leave the course with an understanding of firearm safety, safe handgun handling, Utah firearm and concealed carry laws, use of force considerations, and the responsibilities associated with carrying a concealed firearm.
Course completion does not guarantee issuance of a Utah Concealed Firearm Permit. Final permit eligibility and issuance are determined by the Utah Bureau of Criminal Identification.

Documentation Requirements
Students must bring a valid government-issued photo ID.
Students applying for a Utah Concealed Firearm Permit must complete all application requirements established by the Utah Bureau of Criminal Identification (BCI).
The Utah application requires applicable supporting documentation, including a copy of a state-issued driver's license or identification card, passport-quality photograph, fingerprint card, and instructor certification.
Non-Utah residents may also be required to provide a copy of their home-state concealed carry permit depending on their state of residence and Utah reciprocity requirements.
Utah BCI application and permit fees are separate from course tuition.

• Students must demonstrate familiarity with the safe loading, unloading, storage, and handling of firearms
• Students must comply with all instructor safety rules and course requirements
No ammunition or personal firearm is required unless specifically instructed prior to class.
Students are responsible for meeting all eligibility and application requirements established by the Utah Bureau of Criminal Identification.
