IMPORTANT: The $125 fee shown is the 50% deposit required to register and secure your seat. Total course tuition is $250. The remaining $125 balance is due prior to or on the first day of training.

Complete your Maryland Wear & Carry training with Secrecy Executive Training Academy.
This 16-hour course provides the required firearms safety training for individuals applying for an initial Maryland Wear & Carry Permit. The course combines professional classroom instruction with hands-on firearm training and a live-fire qualification.
Students will receive instruction in firearm safety, Maryland firearms laws, handgun fundamentals, safe handling and storage, use of force considerations, situational awareness, conflict avoidance, and responsible concealed carry.
Upon successful completion of the course and live-fire qualification, students will receive the applicable Maryland State Police training documentation needed to move forward with their Wear & Carry application.
BONUS: Eligible students will also receive Maryland Handgun Qualification License (HQL) training at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE.

Expectations and Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the required classroom instruction and live-fire qualification, students will receive the applicable Maryland State Police training documentation necessary to move forward with their Maryland Wear & Carry Permit application.
Eligible students will also receive Maryland Handgun Qualification License (HQL) training at no additional charge.
Students will leave the course with a better understanding of firearm safety, handgun operation, Maryland firearm laws, responsible concealed carry, and the Maryland permit application process.
Course completion does not guarantee issuance of a Maryland Wear & Carry Permit or HQL. Final licensing decisions are made by the Maryland State Police.

Documentation Requirements
Students must bring a valid government-issued photo ID.
Students applying for their Maryland Wear & Carry Permit will also need to complete the Maryland State Police application requirements, including LiveScan fingerprints and a passport-style photograph.
Application fees, fingerprinting fees, and other Maryland State Police licensing fees are separate from course tuition.

• 50 rounds of factory ammunition for live-fire training and qualification
• Personal handgun in safe working condition, if available
• Eye and ear protection
• Closed-toe shoes and appropriate range attire
Students who do not own a handgun should contact Secrecy Executive Training Academy in advance regarding firearm rental options.
Students must follow all instructor and range safety rules at all times.
Range fees, ammunition, and firearm rental are not included in course tuition unless specifically stated in the individual class listing.
