Description
IMPORTANT: The $125 fee shown is the 50% deposit required to register and secure your seat. Total course tuition is $250. The remaining $125 balance is due prior to or on the first day of training.
Complete your required Washington DC Concealed Carry License training with Secrecy Executive Training Academy.
This course provides the required 16 hours of classroom firearms instruction plus 2 hours of live-fire range training for individuals seeking an initial District of Columbia Concealed Carry License (CCL).
Training is conducted by a Metropolitan Police Department certified firearms instructor and covers firearm safety, handgun fundamentals, marksmanship, District and federal firearms laws, DC self-defense law, situational awareness, conflict avoidance, responsible concealed carry, and live-fire training.
Students will also receive guidance on the DC concealed carry and firearm registration application process.
Upon successful completion of all required classroom and range training, students will receive the applicable training documentation needed to move forward with their DC Concealed Carry License application.

Expectations and Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the required 16 hours of classroom instruction and 2 hours of range training, students will receive the applicable training documentation required for the District of Columbia Concealed Carry License application process.
Students will leave the course with an understanding of firearm safety, handgun operation, marksmanship fundamentals, DC and federal firearms laws, DC self-defense law, responsible concealed carry, situational awareness, and conflict avoidance.
Course completion does not guarantee issuance of a District of Columbia Concealed Carry License. Final licensing and firearm registration decisions are made by the Metropolitan Police Department.

Documentation Requirements
Students must bring a valid government-issued photo ID.
Students applying for a District of Columbia Concealed Carry License are responsible for completing all Metropolitan Police Department application and firearm registration requirements.
Additional documentation may be required by MPD during the application process, including proof of residency, training documentation, fingerprinting, and other required application materials.
MPD application, fingerprinting, firearm registration, and licensing fees are separate from course tuition.
Requirements

• 50 rounds of factory ammunition for live-fire training and qualification
• Personal handgun in safe working condition, if available
• Eye and ear protection, if available
• Closed-toe shoes and appropriate range attire
Students who do not own a handgun should contact Secrecy Executive Training Academy in advance regarding firearm rental options.
Students must follow all instructor and range safety rules at all times.
Range fees, ammunition, and firearm rental are not included in course tuition unless specifically stated in the individual class listing.
