Description

The basic pistol class will take you through understanding safe firearm handling, different types of firearms and the fundamentals of shooting. This is a great class for those who are new to shooting, would like a refresher course, and would like to add more to what they have learned from the past. There will be lots of repetition and dry fire practice with a fun shoot at the end to incorporate all you have learned.

You will need:

  • Proper shoes (tennis shoes/boots)
  • Range bag
  • Handgun
    • See note below if you do not have your own handgun
  • 2 Magazines (3 preferebly)
  • Eye protection
  • Ear protection
  • 50 rounds of ammo
    • see note below if you need ammo for this class
  • Sturdy pistol belt - for holster draw (if applicable)
  • Holster (outside-the-waistband, MUST HAVE good retention, preferably kydex)
  • BarrelBlok (optional) 
    • if you plan to purchase a BarrelBlok, please make sure you purchase the right caliber size
  • Baseball hat
  • Gloves (to pick up spent casings at the end of the class)
  • Sunscreen
  • Water
  • Snacks
  • Lunch
  • Open mind to be coachable

If you do not have a firearm of your own yet, you can Add-On Firearm and Ammo to your registration for an additional $30. The firearm rental is a Glock 19 with 50 rounds of Ammunition (ammo is for class use ONLY).

If you do not have 9mm ammo or .45acp for your personal firearm, you can Add-On 50 rounds of ammunition to your registration (ammo is for class use ONLY) for an additional $25
