Description

So, you’ve decided to not just have a firearm but to become proficient with your firearm? Maybe it has been a long time since since you sot and you want to restart?

This basic course is to introduce you being able engage and win a fight with your handgun. This training provides you the opportunity to practice, learn best practices, and increase the probabilty of succeeding in an lethal force scenario. This is not a marksmanship class, although those principles will be covered, this is a foundational class to develop the skill to defend yourself wth a firearm.

REFRESHER: Also provides a good refresher course for those who have haven't had a lot of time sooting, or shooting in some time. Shooting is a perishable skill. Get training. Get the 'reps' in. Build confidence.

Documentation Requirements

Illinois resident nust have a FOID card.

CCW is recommended, but there are no CCW permit requirements to take this class.

The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.

EQUIPMENT NEEDED:

  • Student’s preferred carry system or holster (no shoulder holsters)
  • Student’s Firearm (unloaded)
  • 100 rounds Ammo
  • Jacket/coat (optional)
