Name: NRA Chief Range Safety Officer
Short Description: This 14-hour course teaches the knowledge, skills and attitude essential to training and supervising NRA range safety officers and developing range standard operating procedures.
More Details: Prerequisite: Must be an NRA Certified Range Safety Officer. Also, your BIT (Basic Instructor Training) Course must be up to date or taken within the last two years.
Sessions include standard operating procedures, inspections, emergency procedures, firearm stoppages and malfunctions, safety briefings. Students demonstrate organizational and teaching skills via participation in practical exercises and complete an open book exam. Students will receive NRA Basic Range Safety Officer lesson plans and basic course presentation CD.
Expectations and Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course you will be certified by the NRA as a Chief Range Safety Officer.

- Snacks, drinks & a sack lunch or $ for a nearby diner. There are not many places close by to chose from, however this place does have burgers, grilled chicken, chicken fired steak, salad etc. at pretty reasonable prices
