About SYG Tactical Training
Raymond “Scott” Chairs brings more than 30 years of law enforcement, firearms, and tactical training experience to SYG Tactical Training. After serving with the Metropolitan Police Department of the District of Columbia from Patrol Operations through the Special Operations Division, Scott continued his career as a firearms and police tactics instructor for armed security personnel supporting United States Government contracts.
As an NRA and USCCA certified firearms instructor and NRA Chief Range Safety Officer, Scott is passionate about helping everyday citizens become safer, more confident, and more responsible firearm owners. His training style focuses on practical skills, safety, and creating a comfortable learning environment for both new and experienced shooters.
Through SYG Tactical Training, Scott is committed to providing professional, real-world firearms instruction built on experience, integrity, and responsible training principles.
