Handgun Fundamentals Level 1
This introductory course is designed to establish the essential principles of pistol marksmanship. Whether you're new to shooting or looking to reinforce your fundamentals, this class focuses on the core building blocks of effective handgun use: stance, grip, sight alignment, sight picture, and trigger control.
You’ll learn proven techniques and concepts developed and refined by top-level shooters from law enforcement, military, and competitive shooting disciplines. These foundational skills will provide you with the confidence and ability to safely and effectively operate a handgun, serving as the critical first step in your progression as a skilled shooter.

Course Overview
At the beginning of the course, students will shoot a baseline drill to assess their current marksmanship fundamentals. This drill will be repeated at the end of the course to evaluate progress and improvements made throughout the training.
By course completion, students are expected to demonstrate enhanced marksmanship skills and a stronger understanding of the core shooting fundamentals. In addition, students will meet the requirements for the Ohio Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) permit and leave with a clear understanding of what to focus on in their personal training moving forward.
