Description
This course is designed for new and experienced shooters seeking a solid foundation in handgun safety, operation, and responsible concealed carry. The class combines classroom instruction with live-fire range training to build confidence, competence, and safe gun-handling skills.
Instruction is provided by a certified NRA instructor, ensuring nationally recognized training standards and a structured learning environment. Students will learn the fundamentals of pistol operation, safe storage, and marksmanship, as well as the legal and practical considerations of carrying a handgun in Ohio.
The material covered is suitable for individuals applying for an Ohio Concealed Carry License (CCW) and is equally valuable for those who choose to carry under Ohio’s permitless carry laws, emphasizing legal responsibilities, situational awareness, and safe decision-making regardless of licensing status.
