Description
Florida Concealed Carry Weapons Permit Course
This course meets the mandatory training requirement outlined in Florida State Statute 790.06, qualifying participants to apply for their Florida Concealed Carry Weapons Permit (CCWP). Upon successful completion, students receive all necessary documentation, including a signed certificate and application guidance.
* Please note: the State of Florida charges separate fees for license processing.
This is a permit certification course — NOT A SHOOTING INSTRUCTION COURSE.
Topics Covered
- Florida CCW laws and license protocols
- Use of force and justifiable self-defense
- Firearm safety and legal responsibilities
- Marksmanship fundamentals
- Live-fire proficiency assessment
Expectations and Outcomes
By the end of this course, students will have completed the state-required classroom instruction and live-fire shooting qualification necessary to apply for a Florida Concealed Carry Weapons Permit (CCWP).
Upon successful completion of both components, students will receive an official Certificate of Completion via email. This certificate verifies that they have met the training requirements outlined in Florida Statute 790.06 and can be submitted with their concealed carry permit application.

- Handgun (Firearms are available for rent at the range if you don’t have one.)
- 25 rounds of ammunition (Ammunition is also available for purchase at the range.)
- Eye and ear protection (Bring your own, or rent/buy them at the facility.)
