SEPTEMBER LADIES PRACTICE SESSION. Sunday, September 13, 2026. 2:00-4:30pm.
This session offers both dry fire and live fire exercises to build confidence in your firearm skills. It applies to whether you are new or need more trigger time. It will be helpful for those who are transitioning to “new” firearm.
Location: Pickens County Sportsman’s Club, 739 Old Jones Mountain Road E, Talking Rock, GA 30175. The climate-controlled clubhouse may be used for dry-fire exercises, and outdoor range for live-fire exercises. PCSC member N/C. Non-Member Fee: $25.00
Topics Covered
Core-Skill Building exercises that develop the physical and mental shooting skills necessary to safely and efficiently handle a firearm. The exercises and instruction in this course are adapted to everyone’s needs and abilities.
Intermediate/Advanced Skill Building exercises for participants who have attended the 2024-2025 Entry-Level, basic courses. Exercises and drills will emphasize more complex actions such as clearing malfunctions, reloading and shooting on the move.
Expectations and Outcomes
The exercises and drills will cover the entire firearm manipulation process in dry fire mode (no ammo) to become familiar with and comfortable in all stages of handling a firearm and then in live fire (with ammo).
By the end of the session participants will have put in productive time in building their firearm skills whether in the basic or intermediate stage of their shooting experience.

Documentation Requirements
Valid Government Issued ID
All attendees will be required to sign a liability waiver.
The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.
Requirements
Firearm to be unloaded in bag or case.
50-100 rounds of ammunition.
Eye & ear protection.
Proper attire for the range. (Details will be provided upon registration.)
