Basic - This is our entry level defensive handgun training course. This course should be considered a minimum for anyone who owns and/or carries a handgun for defensive purposes.

Description
Topics Covered;
Handgun, holster and ammunition selection.
Loading, unloading, defensive presentation of the handgun, stance, grip, sight alignment, trigger control, cadence and follow through.
Emergency reloads, tactical reloads and managing malfunctions.
Single and multiple target engagement with single and multiple shots.
Required Equipment;
Eye and ear protection, functional handgun with a minimum of 3 magazines, sturdy belt, strong side belt holster, magazine pouch and 350 rounds of factory ammunition.
Prerequisites;
Students must posses a valid state issued pistol license and should be familiar with the operational function of their handgun and understand the legalities of lawful use of force.
Class size is limited to 16 students

Expectations and Outcomes
This is an educational course, there is no pass or fail. Students will receive a certificate upon completing the course.

State issued drivers license.
State issued CCW.
The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.
The instructor requires a copy of your Concealed Carry Weapons permit once you register.
