Description
This is the prerequisite course for obtaining your North Carolina Concealed Carry Permit. This course reviews the legal requirements for carrying a concealed handgun in NC, your right to use deadly force in self-defense and defense of others, and firearms safety and fundamentals.

Expectations and Outcomes
By the end of this course of instruction the student will have a working knowledge of their rights to carry concealed in NC, reciprocity with other states, the dos and don’ts of using deadly force, basic marksmanship fundamentals, and how to be safe while carrying and using a firearm.

Documentation Requirements
A valid NC driver’s license or ID, or another states ID with permanent duty orders from the military (You may use an out of state ID if you recently moved to NC; however, you will be required to present a NC ID when applying for your actual permit).
The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.
Requirements
Hearing and eye protection, a functioning handgun and at least 50 rounds of ammunition for that handgun, writing utensils.
