When it comes to self protection, knowing your gear and abilities while performing at your highest level should be a goal of all shooters. The Complete Combatant's goal is to offer an event that does just that! You will have the opportunity to train with top tier instructors during an event that is not found anywhere else in the country. We are not calling Rifle Renaissance a class because it is an EVENT that will bring a NEW, more prepared, rifle community to America.

Our coaches have developed a plan of practice that focuses on finding your personal limitations. Their blocks of instruction will challenge you physically and mentally, but will also challenge your gear and your rifles. It is very important to know your exact limits. Because everyone is different, a cookie cutter style training will not work so each guest will get attention based on their performance, not based on the group. When you know "who you are" as a shooter, then you will be able to make a more reasonable and confident decision on when to press the trigger, and when NOT to.

We are very happy to introduce a NEW end of event concept called "Showcase Your Growth" with 3 unique challenges designed by each instructor. They will take a lifetime of knowledge and put it into a shooting drill that will go "hand n hand" with their shooting block. Each coaches drill will be NEW to the rifle shooting community and introduced that day. You will receive a copy of each drill to practice so you can measure your progress. After that day, the drills will go public. HOW EXCITING, that means each year there will be 3 NEW rifle shooting drills floating around out there and YOU will be the first shoot them!

We will have sponsors, door prizes, SWAG and even a HK rifle to give away. We will supply bottled water and snacks on the ranges.

You will train with each coach for the full day! Saturday evening will be snacks and DOOR PRIZES!

• Annual event the first weekend in Feb: Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
• During this 3 day event, you will train with Brian Hill of The Complete Combatant PLUS 2 other fantastic rifle instructors.

• You will train with each instructor on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
• You end of day challange with each coach is called "Showcase Your Growth" drills. These are shooting drills that each instructor has designed to go "hand n hand" with their training session.

Topics Covered

Adam Winch of Defenders USA "Worst Case Scenario" Close Quarters: 

• Light groundwork, unconventional positions (can be done live, dry and even with no rifle in hand)
• Movement and realistic use of cover
• Engaging from all points of compass

• Experience distance shooting with YOUR PERSONAL rifle but know, yosu will soon find the limits of your equipment. When that happens, you will have the opportunity to stretch out to 840 yard with an HK rifle that will be provided for you.
• Experience efficient spotting 
• Use of a precision reticle

• Use of cover and positional shooting at 25-150 yards
• Understand your ZERO and HOLDOVER at these distances. 
• Tactics: use of rifle in a neighborhood, your property, or around cars

• Still working out the kinks but it looks like we will have three 50 cal Barretts there! Hoping ammo will be provided by a sponsor. 
• This block may be AFTER class is over on Friday and Sat evening. If this all works out, I will split you into 2 groups and delegate who is Friday and who is Saturday. 
• MAY change this block to LUNCH TIME and break into 3 groups. Still need to get confirmations..........

Requirements

*Intermediate to advanced riflemen and riflewomen. NOT a weekend for beginners.
*You must be ZEROed prior to class: 50 or 100 yard zero is optimal. We need to specd time on more essential skills than zeroing. That being said, we will quickly check all zeros and fine tune on Friday morning.
