Description
Welcome to The Complete Combatant's annual FORGE Shooting Symposium's LANDING PAGE. This everchanging Fall event will have different "focuses" each year. It could be all about the different competitions (with a pistol) and the rules, scoring, and how to shoot your best. It could be all about shooting at different distances like 0-3 yards, 3-15 yards and 25-75 yards. It could be all about lethal, non lethal and less lethal decisions and techniques. It could be all about cover, concealment, and draw to first shot. It could be all about 3-Gun (rifle, shotgun and pistol). The world is our oyster!
FORGE 2027 is all about competition! Come learn the sports, understand the skills, and discover how competition can make your training more purposeful, measurable, and rewarding.

- Brian Hill: IDPA: Brian will focus on developing the 5x5 classifier, recognizing patterns in stages, scoring, IDPA rules, gear considerations, and understanding risk versus reward in performance mode. Competitive shooting is rewarding and fun, allowing the shooter to consistently improve their skills through pressure testing.
- Derek Giddings: USPSA: Derek will take students through the entire process of things to consider in order to advance in USPSA including gear considerations for the different USPSA divisions, scoring, understanding hit factor vs time plus scoring, movement, strategy, stage breakdown, and live fire instruction tailored to the individual students shooting ability.
- Tim Reedy: Steel Challenge? Kilt It!" Tim will cover Steel Challenge equipment and game rules, the benefits of Steel Challenge and some of the terminology and process of shooting the match. He will touch base on the commonalities with other types of competition, the mental aspects of competing and pre-competition routines. That's not all! Much more!
- You will train with each coach for an entire day! ?
