Wayne has been a certified firearms instructor since 1980 and continued his training in other force level instructor certifications (baton, defensive tactics, OC) and has remained a student of many of the top names in firearms training over the past generation. In addition to his 25 years of operational police service (with many successfully managed armed confrontations), Wayne served for two years on a Department of State Police Training contract from 2004-2006 in the Iraq combat zone, where he managed a firearms training program for delivery to the Iraqi Police Service. After that service, Wayne served from 2010-2012 on another Department of State Worldwide Protective Service diplomatic protection detail training program in the US for Triple Canopy.
