This class tackles the unique cahllenges inherent to transitioning to a red dot equipped handgun for self defense or duty and helps the student maximize the advantages of the sighting system.

Acquiring the dot on presentation

Acquiring the dot from cover and austere postions (prone, supine etc.)

Dot behavior under recoil

Single hand shooting 

Optic specific malfunctions

Shooting on the move

Expectations and Outcomes

All students will leave with the tools to develop consistent results, when shooting a red dot pistol, so that the device can see its true potential as a force multiplier.

Students who receive a passing mark will leave with sufficient mastery to confidently integrate a red dot equipped handgun into their defensive or duty setup.
