Course Focus: Hands-On Defensive Tactics for Concealed Carriers
This non-live fire 3-hour indoor training course is designed to equip the concealed carrier with the physical and tactical skills necessary to survive a close-quarters confrontation. You will move beyond marksmanship to focus on scenario-based training that teaches you how to react under pressure, retain your firearm, and fight effectively at contact distance.
What You Will Master:
- Defensive Maneuvers & Weapon Retention: Learn physical techniques to create distance, gain a positional advantage, and successfully retain control of your firearm during a struggle.
- Close-Quarters Engagement Strategies: Practice methods for deploying a firearm and engaging a threat when the aggressor is immediately in your personal space.
- Drawing from Concealed Carry: Execute draws safely and effectively from your everyday carry position using inert training firearms.
- Situational Awareness & Tactical Decision-Making: Enhance your ability to recognize threats early and make split-second decisions regarding the use of force.
- Practical Drills: High-intensity, repetition drills using Inert Training Firearms and your personal holster(s) for real-world application.

Requirements
📝 Important Course Notes
- Training Environment: This is an intensive 3-hour indoor training session focused on defensive tactics and is strictly NON-LIVE FIRE. NO LIVE AMMUNITION IS PERMITTED in the training area.
- Required Firearm: Students are required to bring their everyday carry handgun and all magazines to the class. ALL AMMUNITION MUST BE LEFT SECURED IN YOUR VEHICLE.
- Training Pistol: The course will utilize Inert Training Firearms (blue guns or SIRT pistols) provided by the instructor for all close-quarters drills.
- Required Equipment: Students must bring their own personal concealed carry setup, including the holster they use for everyday carry and any magazine pouches.
- Safety Policy: All students must arrive with an unloaded and cleared firearm which will be immediately inspected by the instructor.
- Course Cost: The course fee is $260 total.
