Course Focus: Under Fire Medical & Tactical Response
This high-intensity 6-hour specialized course is the critical integration of defensive shooting and life-saving medical skills. Building on the core competencies of Blood Control 1, this training focuses on providing effective trauma response while actively dealing with an ongoing threat. Utilizing Simunitions, you will practice immediate, life-saving measures in dynamic, active threat environments.
What You Will Master:
- Providing Medical Aid While Engaging a Threat: Learn protocols for delivering self-aid and buddy aid while prioritizing the use of cover and maintaining awareness of the threat.
- Applying Tourniquets & Wound Packing Under Stress: Practice rapidly and correctly applying blood control measures while facing the physical and psychological pressures of a simulated attack.
- Utilizing Cover & Movement While Performing First Aid: Master techniques for safely moving a casualty and performing medical interventions from behind cover.
- Defensive Shooting While Administering Care: Drills that require seamless transition between engaging a threat and delivering emergency medical assistance.
- Simulated High-Stress Scenarios: Engage in complex, force-on-force scenarios in a simulated active threat (parking lot) environment to test both your tactical and medical readiness.

Requirements
📝 Important Course Notes
- Prerequisite: Completion of Blood Control 1 and a foundational defensive shooting course (e.g., Handgun Level 6 or higher) is mandatory. This course involves shooting and medical application simultaneously.
- Training Environment: This is a 6-hour, high-intensity scenario-based course conducted in a controlled environment (simulated parking lot). It is NON-LIVE FIRE and utilizes inert training devices. NO LIVE AMMUNITION IS PERMITTED on the training ground.
- Required Holster: A Concealed or OWB Holster is Required for tactical drills.
- Required Equipment:
- Students must bring their personal carry setup (holster and carry method used daily) and any magazine pouches.
- NO SERPA-style holsters will be permitted.
- Medical Gear: If you own a personal IFAK (Individual First Aid Kit), please bring it. Training tourniquets and inert medical supplies will be provided.
- Safety Gear: All students will be provided with and required to wear protective equipment for Simunitions/force-on-force training (mask, neck protection). Wear comfortable, durable clothing.
- Safety Policy: All students must arrive with an unloaded and cleared firearm which, along with all live ammunition, MUST be left secured in your vehicle.
- Course Cost: The course fee is $420 total.
