Course Focus: Real-World Defensive Tactics, Engagement, and Trauma Response
This full-day, 8-hour immersive training course is the final and most challenging test of all skills learned across the Handgun, Defensive Tactics, and Blood Control curricula. Conducted in a controlled parking lot environment, this course forces students to integrate drawing, movement, vehicle defense, threat assessment, and immediate medical intervention under intense, realistic, force-on-force pressure using Simunitions.
What You Will Master:
- Live Scenario-Based Defensive Drills: Respond to complex, unpredictable, and evolving threats in environments such as parking lots and public spaces.
- Engaging Threats While Using a Vehicle as Cover: Practice seamless transitions from draw to engagement, utilizing vehicle components for tactical advantage.
- Responding to Ambush & Carjacking Situations: Test your response protocols for high-stress, rapid-onset attacks.
- BCON – Blood Control & Medical Aid Under Fire: Integrate trauma care (tourniquets, wound packing) into your defensive sequence, providing aid to self or others while managing the threat.
- Force-on-Force Training with Simunitions: Engage dynamic role-players to test tactical decision-making, speed, and accuracy in a non-lethal environment.
- Decision-Making Under Stress: Enhance your ability to process information, prioritize actions (fight vs. flight vs. medic), and communicate effectively under extreme duress.

Requirements
📝 Important Course Notes
- Prerequisite: Completion of Handgun Levels 1-17, Defensive Tactics Levels 1-4, and Blood Control Levels 1-2 (or verifiable expert-level integration of all skills) is MANDATORY.
- Training Environment: This is a full-day (8-hour) high-intensity scenario-based course conducted in a controlled parking lot environment. It is NON-LIVE FIRE. NO LIVE AMMUNITION IS PERMITTED on the training ground.
- Required Holster: A Concealed or OWB Holster is Required.
- Required Equipment:
- Students must bring their personal carry setup (holster and carry method used daily) and any magazine pouches.
- NO SERPA-style holsters will be permitted.
- Medical Gear: If you own a personal IFAK, please bring it. Training medical supplies will be provided.
- Training Tools: The course will utilize SIRT and Simunition-capable firearms (provided by the instructor) for all drills.
- Safety Gear: All students will be provided with and required to wear full protective equipment for Simunitions/force-on-force training (full-face mask, neck protection, etc.). Durable clothing, knee pads, and elbow pads are highly recommended.
- Safety Policy: All students must arrive with an unloaded and cleared firearm which, along with ALL LIVE AMMUNITION, MUST be left secured in your vehicle.
- Course Cost: The course fee is $570 total.
