Course Focus: Realistic Close-Quarters Battle (CQB) and Live-Fire Structure Clearing
This intensive 8-hour specialized course is the pinnacle of all defensive training, providing students with the rare opportunity to utilize live ammunition while clearing a designated shoot house structure. Integrating all previous Handgun and Tactical skills—movement, angles, light, decision-making, and precision—this course offers the most realistic and demanding training available for defending an interior space.
What You Will Master:
- Live-Fire Room Clearing & Structure Navigation: Execute single-person and team-based entry techniques using live ammunition, engaging threats in close proximity within the structure.
- Threat Identification & Target Discrimination: Master the critical skill of identifying and confirming targets rapidly and accurately before engaging them inside confined spaces.
- Solo & Team-Based Entry Techniques: Refine techniques for entering doorways ("the fatal funnel"), managing angles, and moving through the structure effectively alone and with a partner.
- Engaging Moving & Reactive Targets: Practice engaging targets that move or react to your presence, simulating real-world threat dynamics.

Requirements
📝 Important Course Notes
- Prerequisite: Completion of ALL previous Handgun and Defensive Tactics Levels (especially Levels 15 and 19) is MANDATORY. This course is suitable only for expert-level shooters with verifiable, impeccable safety records.
- Training Environment: This is an intensive 8-hour live-fire training session conducted within a certified tactical shoot house structure.
- Safety Requirements: Due to the extreme risk of live-fire CQB, ABSOLUTE MUZZLE AND TRIGGER DISCIPLINE IS REQUIRED. Any safety violation will result in IMMEDIATE DISMISSAL from the course without refund.
- Required Firearm: All students must use a handgun chambered in 9mm. Handguns will be inspected for proper function.
- Ammunition Requirement: All students must bring a minimum of 350 rounds of FMJ 9mm ammunition.
- Required Equipment:
- A durable Outside-the-Waistband (OWB) Holster is MANDATORY (for safety in close quarters). Concealed carry holsters are not permitted for this specific course.
- A reliable Weapon-Mounted Light (WML) is MANDATORY (or a high-quality handheld light carried correctly).
- Tactical vest or chest rig is highly recommended for carrying extra magazines.
- Knee pads and elbow pads are required.
- Safety Gear: Proper range attire, tactical gloves, eye protection, and electronic ear protection are mandatory.
