Course Focus: Tactical Night Operations and Live-Fire CQB in Darkness
This intensive 6-hour specialized course represents the pinnacle of tactical training, integrating advanced low-light principles (from Level 12) into the extreme environment of a live-fire shoot house (from Level 20). Students will master the use of handheld and weapon-mounted lights to safely and effectively clear structures, identify threats, and engage targets with live ammunition in reduced visibility conditions.
What You Will Master:
- Live-Fire Room Clearing in Low-Light Environments: Execute advanced CQB tactics, maintaining speed and precision while navigating structures in darkness.
- Handheld vs. Weapon-Mounted Light Techniques: Master specialized techniques for utilizing both light sources for searching, identifying, and engaging threats in various low-light conditions.
- Threat Identification & Target Discrimination in Darkness: Develop the crucial skill of quickly confirming targets and avoiding non-threats when light is used tactically and momentarily.
- Navigating Structures with Limited Visibility: Practice maintaining orientation and safety while moving through complex interior spaces with minimal or no ambient light.
- Solo & Team-Based CQB Tactics Under Low-Light Stress: Apply advanced communication and movement drills in a high-stress, live-fire environment.
