This intensive 5-day (40+ hour) certification course is designed to develop highly proficient, safe, and professional firearms instructors. Students will learn the critical instructional techniques, curriculum design principles, and risk management strategies necessary to teach defensive pistol skills effectively and ethically. This course culminates in a comprehensive performance assessment including a shooting qualification, written exam, and teaching presentation.

Requirements
📝 Important Course Notes
- Prerequisite: Applicants must demonstrate prior expert-level proficiency in defensive pistol handling (equivalent to completing the entire Handgun Series) before acceptance.
- Ammunition Requirement: Minimum 1,200 rounds of FMJ 9mm ammunition (or the caliber of their training handgun).
- Required Equipment: Students must bring an operational handgun, minimum three magazines, a sturdy holster (OWB preferred), magazine pouches, a tactical light (WML recommended), and professional note-taking materials.
- Certification: Certification is performance-based, requiring successful completion of the shooting qualification, written exam (minimum 90% score), and teaching assessment.
