Description

This is a 2-day course. The NRA Conceal Carry course (CCW) is intended for all individuals interested in obtaining a Wear and Carry Permit from the state of Maryland. Day one consists of all classroom time. Day two is all range time. Topics include firearm safety, pistol nomenclature, selecting a pistol for self-defense, ammunition knowledge and defensive ammunition, basic defensive pistol skills, drawing from concealment, loading and stoppage remediation, laws regarding handguns, and mindset. The range we will be shooting at is the most modern, beautiful gun range in Maryland!

This is the exact class you need to take to obtain your Maryland Wear & Carry Permit or for those looking to become an NRA CCW Instructor.

You will be able to handle all different types of hanguns from semi-automatics to revolvers. These will include everything from Glocks, to Sig Sauers, to Single Action and Double Action Revolvers. You will able to examine everything from custom made competition handguns, to the Colt Single Action Army, to different kinds of concealed carry firearms.

Expectations and Outcomes

At the successful completion of the course students will be able to apply for their Maryland Wear & Carry Permit. You will also receive your NRA CCW Student certificate. This is the exact course you will need to take if you are attempting to become a NRA CCW Instructor.

Requirements

You will need your firearm, holster and concealment garment, mag pouch, three magazines, eye protection, ear protection, and at least 250 rounds of ammo.
