Description
Historic Firearms. Live Fire. Modern Accountability.
Step back into history and put yourself in the boots of a WWI or WWII G.I. during this live-fire equipment challenge designed to test gear, movement, and marksmanship under realistic conditions. This is not a reenactment—it’s a performance-driven event using historical firearms as the foundation.
Types
Advanced, Basic, Intermediate, Rifle, Scenario Based Training, Specialty Other
Requirements
Participants will run period-correct WWI and/or WWII firearms, engaging dynamic stages that combine movement, positional shooting, and equipment management. Plan on shooting both handgun and rifle, with approximately 150 rounds per firearm required for the event.
Please bring an additional 50 rounds per firearm for a friendly opportunity to share, compare, and educate with other like-minded participants during informal drills and discussions.
NO AP/steel core projectiles allowed! We will shoot a lot of steel targets in this course.
Period-correct uniforms or web gear are NOT required. Modern clothing and modern load-bearing equipment are acceptable. Original or reproduction historical kit is welcome and will enhance the overall experience.
This challenge is about discovering how historical weapons perform under modern standards—and what we can still learn from them today.
