About Tri-State Personal Safety Training
Hello. My name is Kirk Day and along with my partner Patrick Beam, we own and operate Tri-State Personal Safety Training. We are a fully mobile business, but also operate out of the IWLA of Clear Spring, MD. We are certified through the Maryland Police and Correctional Training Commission to teach the Maryland Wear and Carry course, along with Maryland HQL. We are also USCCA Certified Instructors and teach Personal and Home Defense. We are certified through the State of Utah to teach the Utah CFP course. We also are certified NRA Basic Pistol and Refuse to Be a Victim Instructors. We are also both NRA Range Safety Officers. Kirk is a retired Lieutenant from the Montgomery County Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, where he was the lead Firearms Instructor and Departmental Armorer. Patrick is currently a Captain with the Montgomery County Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, where he was also a Firearms Instructor and Armorer. Patrick also served as an Infantryman in the US Army for 12 years with multiple combat deployments.
