About Timberline Security Solutions LLC
Mackay began his shooting career at a young age growing up hunting and generally loving sports involving firearms. As time went on he enlisted in the Alaska National Guard and was assigned to a Long Range Surveillance (LRS) detachment while completing ROTC to get a commission as an Infantry Officer in 2010.
He was sent to Fort Benning to complete the Basic Officers Leadership Course for Infantry Officers were he continued to refine his weapons and tactics skills. Upon graduation he was assigned a platoon at Fort Bliss 1st Armored Division undergoing 3 years of training in small team tactics and a deployment to Afghanistans Kandahar province where he lead 244 missions.
He has attended a plethora of civilian courses and competitions to continue enhancing his firearms knowledge and tactical training expertise. Among these includes G4S armed guard training so he could provide executive protection services, courses through Warrior Poet Society, and competing actively in International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA)
