About Veretie
Train accuracy, moving with the gun, engaging multiple targets and shooting at a faster pace at distances of 5 to 25 yards. Conducted outdoors in a realistic, natural environment, you’ll run more challenging courses of fire. Go beyond the limits of simply aiming and pressing a trigger at 3 yards at a static range. Classes are designed for women by a woman, applying the most current concepts learned in competitive shooting to drive pistol skill development for sport, self-defense and carry concealed weapon (CCW) application. My approach is encouraging and comfortable while setting high standards that go beyond static bullseye shooting.
You’ll get lots of trigger time working drills and putting in the practical work that drive relevant to skill development, real performance improvement, confidence, competency and consistency. Small group classes ensure you get individualized attention. I’m able to tailor each class to the specific strengths and limitations of my students. Each student receives focused 1:1 coaching, support and guidance. We’ll work on setting clearly defined, measurable goals so you’re able to assess your progress and take responsibility for achieving objectives. Classes focus on:
- Proper firearm safety
-
Efficient gun handling, including draw stroke
-
Fundamentals based on the most current methods
-
More aggressive practical and defensive techniques
-
Shooting on the move
-
Target transitions
-
Use of time constraints

Frequently Asked Questions
How long is the class?
Six hours. For Absolute Beginner, first hour is dedicated to classroom training and the remainder of the day is spent on the range. For Advanced Beginner, there is a 30 minute safety brief and review of fundamentals before live fire. Classes begins at 9:00AM and concludes at 3PM. There is a 15 minute lunch break.
Do I need my own pistol?
Yes, you must have your own semi-auto pistol to attend class. I’m available to help you select and purchase a pistol. Don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions.
Do I need to bring ammo?
Yes, you will need 500 rounds of ammunition. Contact me if you would like recommendations for where you can purchase ammunition at the lowest cost.
What gear do I need?
You'll need ear and eye protection, as well as a speed loader (I recommend Uplula). I also suggest wearing a baseball cap and bringing sun screen, lots of water and some snacks. You must also have a holster, either AIWIB or OWB — preferably Kydex molded to the specific make and model of your gun, and a proper gun belt to support your holster. Three magazines and a magazine pouch are highly recommended.
Where are classes held?
Training is conducted at the Lebanon County Police Combat Pistol Club,1855 Russell Road, Lebanon, PA. Upon arrival your gun should be holstered or unloaded and cased.

USPSA Match August 2024
First USPSA match coming off training with Ben Stoeger. All the doubles work paying off with 3 Alphas and 1 Charlie on the challenging hardcover disappearing targets. Had little time to engage these targets so it forced me to be more aggressive and shoot predictably, showing me I could have been a lot faster on the back 3. Scored 48/50 points; HF 5.60 placing me 5th out of 10 in carry optics.

Designated Target Drill August 2024
Designated target drill with wide transitions, distances from 5 to 15 yds, hard cover and no shoot to make it more challenging. Trying to stress my shooting. 7:80 all alphas. Need to push speed more to expose weaknesses.

Bill Drill August 2024
Love this drill. Tests my ability to get my gun out fast with a solid grip, bring my gun up quickly, index on target, keep my eyes locked on a small spot, and get consistent behavior out of my gun. My splits are in the .2s but still need to get faster on the draw before I hit a sub 2 second Bill.

MXAD Drill July 2024
Working on some new drills for this weekend’s PCSL match and upcoming USPSA classifier match. This drill is a variation of the MXAD. Targets at 5 and 15 yds. Eyes are moving aggressively from target to target. Focus is on making sure my gun lands on my focal point without over driving the gun and maintaining consistent grip pressure throughout COF.
