Erick Welborn is a highly skilled and experienced firearms instructor with expertise in firearms training and safety. Certified by the USCCA, Erick specializes in delivering comprehensive firearms education, tailored to meet the needs of individuals from all backgrounds—ranging from beginners to advanced shooters.
As a combat veteran with 20 years of military services, as well as years in private security and personal protection, Erick has developed a deep understanding of firearms mechanics, marksmanship, and situational awareness. His teaching approach is grounded in the principles of safety, effectiveness, and confidence-building, ensuring that each student not only masters the technical aspects of firearm handling but also gains the mental preparedness required in high-stress situations.
Erick is known for his patient and methodical instruction style, making complex concepts accessible and understandable. Whether it’s guiding a new shooter through the basics or refining the skills of an experienced shooters, Erick is dedicated to empowering students with the knowledge and confidence to handle firearms responsibly.
As an advocate for safe firearm ownership, Erick is committed to fostering a culture of respect, responsibility, and proficiency within the firearms community. His courses cover a wide range of topics, including concealed carry, defensive shooting, home defense, church security, real estate safety, women’s handgun fundamentals, constitutional carry, and tactical rifle all designed to enhance both individual skills and overall safety.

Policies
Cancellation Policy
The instructor reserves the right to cancel classes and will work with students to reschedule as necessary.
students must provide a minimum of 48 hours before class starts to cancel or refunds will not be paid.
Reschedule Policy
We will work with you to reschedule a class as long as notice is given more than 48 hours before class starts.
The instructor reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a class, but will work with students to reschedule should this happen.
Refund Policy
Refunds will be issued, less any processing fees, if there is a cancellation more than 48 hours before class starts after which there will be no refunds.
Other Policy
The instructor maintains the right to dismiss students who are deemed a safety hazard without refunds.
No one will be allowed to train who is, or is suspected of being, under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Waiver
Waivers will be signed in class.
