Wild Geese Training is hosting a Women’s Only NRA FIRST Steps Pistol Orientation at Camp Villere in Slidell.

This course is designed for women with little or no handgun experience who want to learn firearm safety and shooting fundamentals in a comfortable, supportive environment.

During this class you will learn:

?? Pistol operation
?? Ammunition knowledge and safe handling

?? Live-fire practice on the range

💡 Loaner pistols will be available, so you do not need to own a firearm to attend.

Our goal is simple: build confidence, competence, and safe firearm handling skills.

Students must not be ineligible to possess firearm. If there are any concerns regarding eligibility, it is advised to contact the instructor before registration.

Proper range attire required.

  • Closed-toe footwear.
  • No tank tops, low-cut or sleeveless tops.
  • No open-toe shoes, sandals, or flip-flops.
  • Avoid loose scarves, dangling jewelry, and hoods.
