Description
This state-required course covers all the legal, safety, and practical elements needed to carry a concealed handgun responsibly in Louisiana. The class includes both classroom instruction and live-fire range time.
Course Details:
- 9 hours total (classroom + live fire)
- Covers Louisiana firearms laws, safety rules, conflict avoidance, and practical shooting skills
- Upon successful completion, you will receive the certificate needed to apply for your CHP
Classes are scheduled based on student demand. I offer both group sessions and private/small-group options.

Documentation Requirements
Student will be asked for their valid Government issued ID: Driver’s License, State Photo ID, Passport, Birth Certificate, etc.
The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.
Requirements
Bring the equipment you intend to carry including your firearm, holster, and magazine pouches. Student must bring 100 rounds of ammunition.
