I bring a rare combination to firearms instruction: deep legal knowledge, serious shooting experience since the 1980s, real-world physical confrontation, and hands-on expertise as an FFL 07 manufacturer and gunsmith.

A few years out of high school, I became a professional wrestler in the World Wrestling Federation. I was one of those guys getting beaten up on television every Saturday night in the mid- to late-80s. After four years there, I worked in executive protection and as a bouncer at several nightclubs. Then I decided to become an attorney (a natural evolution, no?), went to undergrad, then law school. I've been a licensed attorney for over 27 years.

I'm also an Adaptive Firearms Instructor, working with shooters of all physical abilities to find solutions that work for their specific needs. This includes adaptive gunsmithing modifications when standard configurations won't do.

I've been an NRA Pistol Instructor since 2009 and am a USCCA Instructor and NRA Range Safety Officer. I've trained with Massad Ayoob (MAG40 Graduate), Andrew Branca, Tactical Hyve, and Rangemaster, among others. I continue pursuing advanced instructor development because the learning never stops, and passing that knowledge to students is the best part.

This background allows me to teach not just shooting fundamentals, but the legal realities, ethical considerations, and situational awareness that responsible gun ownership demands. I particularly enjoy introducing new shooters to the sport I love and inspiring them to seek out the same great instructors who shaped my own training.
